AmeriCare Plus, In-Home Personal Care & Live-In Agency, knows about family.

Catherine’s father, Jim saw a need for caregivers in the home throughout Virginia years before it was common. He and his wife Elizabeth founded the first Assisted Living Facility in Virginia and grew it into what was, at the time, the largest privately-owned senior living company in the State, with the first AmeriCare Plus office opening in Norfolk in 1995.

Here at AmeriCare Plus, we are one big family taking care of your family! With over 26 years of In-Home Personal Care & Live-In companion experience, AmeriCare Plus is a Virginia leader. Our Team Teal are community & industry leaders who are at the forefront of home care changes & regulations. AmeriCare Plus was one of the first Virginia agencies to test and be Electronic Visit Verification compliant to meet national regulations.

The AmeriCare plus teams have remained vigilant in COVID-19 training & protocols, and provided PPE to our caregivers, all to offer ‘Care, Compassion & Security for all ages in the comfort of their own homes.’
