Local Nonprofits Sell Concert Skyboxes to Raise Money for those in need.
Skybox sales from 2025 Charity Concert Series directly benefit Franklin County families in need.
Union Hall, VA — Four of Franklin County’s leading nonprofits have joined forces to create
Neighbors in Need, a new coalition dedicated to addressing the region’s growing challenges
with food insecurity and health care access.
The coalition unites the leadership of:
? Ellen Holland, Free Clinic of Franklin County
? Lisa Lietz, SML Good Neighbors, Inc.
? Staci Talley, Stepping Stone Mission soup kitchen
? Lucille Bowman, Transitions Basics
Together, they’re building a stronger safety net by pooling resources, raising awareness, and
delivering support to the county’s most vulnerable residents.
A Creative Partnership with The Coves Amphitheater
To fuel this mission, Neighbors in Need has partnered with The Coves Amphitheater, which has
pledged 100% of its 2025 skybox proceeds from the Coves Charity Concert Series to the
coalition.
“This partnership gives us a unique platform, not just to raise funds, but to share the stories of
our neighbors who are quietly struggling every day,” said Dennis Crumpler, developer of The
Coves. “We’re honored to be part of this effort to create real impact in our community.”
“SML Good Neighbors is grateful for the community’s continued support through the Neighbors
in Need Campaign,” said Tabitha Collison of SML Good Neighbors, Inc. “With the rising cost of
living, more families than ever are relying on our programs. Campaigns like this not only help
sustain our work but also strengthen the efforts of other local organizations committed to
meeting the increasing needs of families in our region.”
